Go directly to the campus clinic!! They will help, I promise. This is only anxiety, you & many other people experience it. It will be O.K., Lots of students experience this. Wish I could hug you!! Temporary problem with an easy solution.
You are not going crazy, and I remember in the height of my anxiety, I would think of needles flying down from the sky, I had all kinds of weird intrusive thoughts, they are not halucinations. You are not shcizephrenic.
hi you are ok . you are having anxiety attacks . you will not die and you will not go crazy . it is your own fear that is binging these symptoms on . just chill out . every time you get a negative thought replace it with a positive . you are not alone with this horrible feeling . its because you think to much . i promise you will be ok . tell yourself you are not afraid you know it will pass . it always does it just leave you exhausted . you are ok :)
hang in there donna
Also I should add that feeling like you're going crazy is a symtom of anxiety...look up anxiety/anxiety attack symptoms online and see for youself
relax, you are not going insane, people who ARE going insane do not realize it...because they are losing their sanity, the very fact that you are aware of all this and fear going crazy is proof of your own sanity..I have a friend who has bad depression and anxiety and he has told me things like I feel like my brain is skipping and it scared the **** out of him...stress, anxiety and pent up emotions can have TREMENDOUS effects on you, but you WILL NOT GO INSANE and YOU WON'T DIE...take a warm shower and lay down, just relax and you'll feel better...and dont even let the possibilty that something is wrong with your enter your brain because it will start an endless chain of thoughts that will exacerbate your anxiety...let us know how you feel =)
Thanks for responding...I am trying to tell myself I am not crazy but its not working..That is really my worst fear. I feel like i can handle anything in life but not when my brain is controlling me. I tried to get help today and the counsellor at my school set an appointment for end of November. I dont even have a family doctor and my family wouldn't understand this.
yes plz do go se someone, do you have family that supports you in this. your not going crazy ,you just are letting the stress and anxiety get away from you , stop it now before it takes over. tell your self your not crazy and it will pass, this will not kill you but can take over your life and its no fun been there . talk to someone as soon as you can and when it happens pick up a phone get a support person who can talk to while its going on that helps. we are here for you .
I hope anyone will respond...right now I am crying at school i dont have anyone to talk to...there is a counsellor at my university should i go see him??
