Doctor up my dose without telling me

Ok I've seen my doctor this month and he gave me a refill of my xanax, but what I did not know was that he up my dose and I didn't even know he did. I got all panicky about cause I don't want to get addicted to them and this is causing me to panic. I need some advice cause for the pass 5 days mad panicky  about this?

I agree with Paxiled.  Call the doctor's office and clarify your dose ASAP, in case it was a mistake.  Also, you need to know how your doctor is recommending you take the Xanax.  How often are you taking the Xanax?

Maybe the doctor upped your dose because you are so anxious, he noted it, and increased your med dose. He should have discussed it with you. If it bothers you that much, cut them in half until you see him next time. Good luck and God bless.

Contact his office and first see if he did it on purpose, if you haven't already.  Could have been a mistake.
