The effect of alcohol and hot weather on anxiety

I am a 21-year-old female college student.  I am just approaching my senior year in college and will be moving back to my school in august.  I recently was hospitalized for a sever drop in blood pressure that caused me to faint three times.  It was due to that I had alcohol, a sleeping aid, and two extra strength tylenol.  This wasn't on purpose, merely accidental thinking.  I also have anxiety problems and adult add.  I am on lexapro and take adderrall during the school year.  I went to the ER again a few days later because I was feeling the same signs of when I fainted, like uncomfortable tingling in my arms and chest area, as well as kind of dizzy, and very panic-like.  It turns out, it had nothing to with my heart or blood pressure, I was just really wound up and it really effected me, but I felt like something was physically and medically wrong.  It came out of nowhere.  I was trying to stay calm, but nothing I could tell myself would help and I just kept getting even more panic and hotness, rapid heart-rate, and uncomfortable tingling, and dizziness.  Are these typical of panic attack symptoms?

I agree with SassyLassie... hotness, rapid heart-rate, tingling, and dizziness are classic signs of panic / anxiety, but fainting is not. You might think or feel like you are going to faint from a panic attack, but your blood pressure tends to go through the roof during a panic attack - preventing you from fainting. You should have a thorough check-up to rule out potential heart and hormone issues.

I know you said you went to the ER for this and were hospitalized, but, have you seen a regular cardiologist or family internist for these problems and had a thorough check up with blood work?  Yes, the symptoms can be due to panic attack, panic attacks can have all kinds of symptoms, but, I would sure get checked to rule out any other problems. Fainting and such is nothing to play with.
