For me, my stomach can give me huge problems when I am stressed. You said that you have been under stress for some time now. Anxiety and panic can be very confusing and scary in my opinion, but you can get through it. I agree that you should share your concerns with your doctor. After you do, why not go see someone to talk about your anxiety? For me, that is the most important step you can take in confronting it. Sometimes we just need to learn about why we are stressed to begin to overcome it.
Anxiety can cause stomach upset and anxety left untreated can cause stomach issues (Olcers over time) I would consult your Dr. first to rule out acid reflux..when I was 17 I had acid reflux issues. I had to take huge horse sized pills for the acid build up in my stomach...I seriously thought I had olcers, I had horrid pain and vomiting.
Have you talked to your doctor about it? Are the pains really bad? I think I would see your doctor to rule out any medical cause and if that all check out ok, maybe write a food diary and see if there are foods that seem to trigger the pain etc and eliminate it. Just work with your doctor and hopefully you will feel better.
