Worst Part of the day, why do i feel this way

Everyday i usually wake up, and everyday usually my wife is up and getting ready for work. I dont work until 3 so i kinda lay in bed for a while.  But everytime it seems, like just a horrible feeling.  I feel pain, i feel anger, i feel lots of things.  I try to lay there and analyze it but it just goes around in circles and circles.  It takes bout a half an hour or so after i get outta bed for this to go away, but i just dont get it.  Why does this happen everyday?  Maybe i should just get outta bed earlier.  Maybe just laying in bed messes with me.  I dont know.

I too have that issue, if i lay in bed after I am awake the thought stream starts goin nuts. I have now learned to notice the thoughts and recognize them as thoughts and not take them so serious, I also now begin the day with power words, i am strong, i am powerful, i am loving, etc there is a great book, "taming the gremlins in your head" this helped me learn to recognize thoughts and minimize their power.

This sounds to me just like typical "programming" we do to ourselves.  When my panic was at its peak, mornings were AWFUL for me.  Why?  For me...it was b/c one of the bad panic attacks I had was in the am, so I started worrying in the mornings. Sure enough, before long, every morning was hell.

This is common of the anxious cycle of thinking and worrying we do.  You expect to feel this way every morning, and because you have, it will most likely continue.  The same can happen with PLACES (being fearful of a store), and even people (people we have felt nervous around before).

It's all about trying to break that cycle of expecting it.  I agree with the suggestions you got above...mix up your routine a bit, try some new things.  Certainly lying in bed is only adding to your worry as you are focused on it.  At least try getting up...go to another room, get a shower, etc.

Once you break that "expectation", you'll soon realize it was most likely just you self programming your brain to worry about that time of day.

Keep in touch!!

Hi. Well think it could be many things.

One being a issue with getting a proper REM cycle going while asleep. Could be caused by numerous things. Everything from sleep conditions to your wife bumping into you in her sleep.

But in that case your mind might be getting a bit stressed out due to not going through the full process of the sleep without getting paused by some interruption.
(you can exit a deep REM state without actually waking up)
So that might leave you irritated and kinda angry I guess.

Other thing could be a more "mental" view as you suggested by asking in here.

I know my mom always told me when I was feeling sick in the mornings, to at least get up and try getting a start of the day.- And in most cases I would realize I was fine.

Why that is im not sure. . . Maybe some people just feel like crap when they wake up.

Or maybe. . . Just maybe, you have some issue in your daily life with something thats actually bothering you.
Maybe there is something at work that you unconsciously hate and makes you pissed.
And waking up knowing you have to go to work will give you this feeling.

Plenty of options. heh.
but yeah get out of bed earlier.
Think about wither there is something that might be bothering you in your daily life that your overlooking instead of fixing.
