cipramil for panic disorder

Question

I am going to start cipramil 5mg to hopefully lessen the severity of the panic attacks I get.

Is there anybody else here on cipramil for this purpose?If so does it help?Also when is best to take it?morning or night.The doctor told me it can be taken either morning or night.

Its an SSRI so I am thinking maybe morning is best to take it

Got your reply just today. But I understand about not wanting to take meds when home alone. I'm the same way. Soooooo? Did you take it?

hi,

I'm starting monday cos my partner is home that day.I dont like starting new meds especially anti-depressants when home alone in case I have odd reactions.

Yeah, I get pretty bad myself. I went to the mall yesterday with the kids and husband and I rushed through the whole shopping spree because I was so panicky I was shakey too. I just wanted to get home. 
Why are you starting on Monday? Are u like me? When I "start" something I like to start the week fresh. A little OCD, dont you think?

I will let you know how I get on.I am going to start on monday with 5 mg.
I need to be on something.My partner had to park the car a bit further from the apartment today than he usually does and I had to go to it to get some stuff.

I eventually managed to get to it after 2 attempts.I literally grabbed what I needed and came back to the apartment shaking.

You've asked the perfect questions about Celexa. It was prescribed to me months ago but haven't taken it yet. Afraid to. It was also given to me for panic attacks. I hear mixed messages about it, but everybody that I've heard stuff from was using it for depression. I'm wondering if it has the same effect on people taking it for depression as it does on people taking it for anxiety/panic. I'll keep checking this post and please let me know if you do take it and how you feel. At this point, (too bad for my husband)  I really dont care about my sex drive, lol!!

celexa works very well for many people. i felt great when i was on it but it killed my sex drive
