are you able to take it while pregnancy?
Yeah...I figured it was best if I didn't rush into it...on the plus side my anxiety has been doing much better, so that is encouraging.
hi i suffer with really bad health anxiety,i was taking 10mg of citalopram when i was pregnant but i was increased to 20 a few months back as i didnt seem to be making progress,i was worse in some ways, since my increase i have noticed some improvements.as the others said it does take 2/3 weeks for your body to adjust so stick with it and if you dont feel satisfied go back to your doctor and also ask about seeing a CBT counselor x
I am currently on it myself...the first 2-3 weeks can be harsh, as SSRIs are adjusting your seratonin levels, and in some people it can actually increase your anxiety at first...but if you stick with it, it could really help you. I am currently on 20mgs, but 40 mgs was really where the drug started helping me.
Hi....I take this for general anxiety with excellent results. You don't have all the side effects with this type of medication compared to an antidepressant. I think you will find that you're going to feel much better! Take care.
