try celexa less side affects
some words seemed to dissapear from my post but i am guessing you got the gist. I would think the question to your doc then would be instructions for the safest way to stop them, that you want to try it out, and if you need to you will go back on (that should make the doc feel better lol) but really feel ready to go off of them
I just don't like ssris. Never have. I definitley felt better without the prozac. I'm still getting anxiety while on it so why keep feeding myself unnecessary pills? I'm very against long term medication and I'm just not comfortable on the prozac. Plus the weigt gain and horrible insomnia I've been experiencing since taking the prozac is just making the pills not worth it to me.
you are in charge of your While they know and are more educated they can't be inside your head and body. I would have a hard time believing you are second guessing them but you need to also consider how you were before you took it and be honest with yourself if you are better of trying a different one or going off all together.
Simply tell your doctor that the Prozac is deterring your health by making you gain weight and that you are concerned. Your doctor shouldn't think you are second guessing her. Tell her about how good Xanax controlled you and explain to her that you kept it strictly as a 'need it or leave it' basis. (Maybe if you have old pill bottles showing dates that you picked up a refill and she can see how far the dates are she can believe you?)
