my life 2013

Long story short. I suffered from anxiety about 1 year ago. With a lil bit of panic attacks.. I got twice depression.. u know to a point u can't eat getnout of bed and feel weak. Anyways, ever since my first anxiety my life has change.. this year 2013 I been prompt to get sick and more sick.. like viruses, infections, illnesses like ovarian cyst, UTI, kidney infection that im dealing right now. Sromach flu twice this year, flu, the cold twice or three times, crazy year.. I been to the clinic like 30 times. Hospital like 10 times.. this year.. I miss my old life. When I would just be me and not worry so much.. I stopped drinkkin alcohol, I stopped drinking coffee,  I stopped eating junk. I lost weight.. im picky on whag I eat.. anxiety has change me.. I can't drive freeways anymore. I get depressed sometimes how my life has flip around. From 100 to 30.. is just not me anymore. I been getting therapy for the past months. Without medicatiom. Which helps me alot. 1 to 10..it help me like a 9.. I learn to ease my anxiety levels. Control them.. but my question here is. Even though I have managed my anxiety. Ever since my anxiety I been sick n sick n sick.. im soo sick. Im sick n tired of everything now. I miss my old me.. 2013 hasn't been so good to me. :( never experience a year of sickness. I always scared of dying. :(

I'm sorry you're going through this.

2013 was absolutely one of the hardest I've had, and did contribute to my transition from occasional to chronic/daily anxiety.

Our body is a strong, but delicate system crafted so beautifully.  If something becomes out of balance, it can gradually or suddenly impact our systems.  Anxiety can definitely cause imbalance which could present in physiological symptoms: GI distress, headaches, chest pain, weakness, lethargy/fatigue, tremors, and more.

It's great that you're in therapy - seeking help is huge and so brave of you!  You're taking care of your mental and emotional health.  Maybe your body just needs some TLC, too.  Make sure you're eating good nutrition: protein/carb combos are great.  Add in a fave fruit/veggie.  Try taking a good probiotic.  Add in a multi-vitamin.  Drink plenty of water.  If you're not exercising, try just a good walk around the block to get some fresh air and some blood moving.  These are small, baby steps that might reap huge benefits for you.

I'm praying 2014 is a better year for all of us anxiety sufferers.
