stress and immune system

i suffer from alopecia areata its an autoimmune disease that makes your hair fall out.
i recently had a traumatic experience. ive had EXTREME stress and anxiety for a
month. my whole lifestyle changed. i usually eat 4 to 5 meals a day and get 8 to 9 hours sleep. the whole month of november i hadnt had a full nights rest and i only eat 2 to 3 meals a day. i have joint pain and muscle aches. but recently my hair is not falling out anymore. is it possible for the extreme stress and anxiety to correct my alopecia?

Agree with mammo .  My hair started to fall out in alarming amounts after my son's murder.
Also experiencing facial acne (@ 75)...so go figure!

Anal cancer treatment messed up lots of things. Most were corrected this past year, and the port removed.  Still, my belief is same as mammos.

I refuse to go for more tests just now.  Am tested out.  Three surgeries in past 6 months is enough.

Off to the beauty parlor.  Beautification always gives me a boost!

Stress doescompromise our immune system making us more vulnerable to disease.  I don't believe your extreme stress would have corrected your problem. Stress can actually make your hair fall out.
