i know how you feel... stress Can Cause A Lot Of crazy things... I think it's what caused my anxiety/panic disorder as well as hair loss(which is why i believe I'm stressed even though I don't feel stressed...)... And Since the anxiety disorder started, I have had Tension and pain in my neck and shoulders that just don't seem to go away!...
The thing to remember is just keep telling yourself it's not dangerous and the feeling will go away and try to accept it(as hard as that may be), And The Panic won't be as intense and even go away... :)
It is a normal physical response to stress and anxiety. The body tenses up and can cause pain just about anywhere. I think neck and back pain are two of the most common. If we could relax, we wouldn't be anxious. It's a cycle that's hard to break without help from your doc. Perhaps a mild muscle relaxant would help, while you are treating the anxiety itself. Sometimes we have to treat the symptoms in order to lessen our worrying.
It definetly can. When it happens try and relax and focus on something else. The feelings should calm down.
If this persists I would recommend that you see your doctor to make sure it isn't something else such as a pulled muscle or pinched nerve. If it is anxiety you should discuss different coping methods with your dr.
I hope you feel better soon.
