whats happening now? D=

So I forgot to take my Zoloft in the morning 2 days ago and ended up taking it at 6pm. I had what I would consider as a minor panic attack and then was fine. The next day I took my Zoloft around noonish and felt fine throughout the day. Had a bit of depersonalization but was ok. And today I took my Zoloft on time. But last night and kind of right now I been feeling kinda dizzy. Kinda like the room is spinning slowly and I feel as if I'm walking kinda Weird. My sleep has been kind of off lately. So I've been pretty tired as well. Is this feeling due to the fact that I haven't been as consistent with my Zoloft or is it because I'm super sleepy or what. Why am I feeling this way all of a sudden. I had been feeling this way randomly before during summer and didn't know why but now I'm feeling it again. Anyone have an idea of why this is happening or have been through it themselves. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Stay positive. Thanks - Lynnsee c:

Ditto what cj said.  Very possibly the symptoms could be anxiety.  It's hard not to want to find an answer for everything we feel, but sometimes, just racking our brains about it makes us more frustrated and anxious.  Try not to focus too much on the symptoms...stay distracted, and hopefully they will resolve quickly.  I would doubt it's the Zoloft dosing, sounds more like anxiety to me.  Hang in there!

In my experiennce with anxiety (I also have taken Zoloft on and off for years), it can have its peaks and valleys....it definitely is not static.  In my opinion, we can start to worry or feel anxious at different times and sometimes we look for a root physical cause when many times it could be just our nerves.

Are you also in counseling?  For me, the combination of medication and counseling seemed to help me confront and get long term relief from my anxiety.

The heat could possibly causing your body to sweat more excessively and therefore causing dizziness on top of missing your dose.. It might take a few days for body to re-adjust. Keeping hydrated and eating a bit even if you don't feel like it- a piece of toast even. If your symptoms become more severe after continuing to take your medication or at any point- either make an appointment or go to your local walk-in care, just to be sure there is not an underlying issue at Hand. Good luck! :)
