why does my brother keep urine in bottles an wont take a bath

i have a 52 year old brother who lost his right leg from diabetics two years ago,he wont take no bath maybe once a month if that,an he keep bottles of urine in his room i clean his room a week ago found 9 bottles of urine in 2 liters of coke bottles an in the trash can i have talk an talk to him so sick of the smell please help?

This is the anxiety forum. Does your brother have problems with anxiety and or depression? I'm asking because if he does have either it could explain why he is'nt bathing or leaving his room much. Having a leg removed could definitely cause depression and anxiety. Can you talk to him about getting in to counseling? It might really help him.

thank you for the advice we already talked about his depression i have been very nice trying to show him i love him an there for him i buy him things i always talk to him in a way as to were i want make him feel like i'm putting him down he's been by himself for a long time he wanting to move back to texas really don't know what to do.thanh you remar
