Need help for a Desperate Friend !

My friend's daughter has been dealing with odd symptoms for the past few years.  Five years ago, she was diagnosed with HSP (a viral disorder that causes blood vessels to break near the surface of the skin).  After 3 years, her symptoms stopped.  She received the Gardisil vaccine, and about 1 week later began experiencing different and strange medical happenings.  Sofia, now 20 years of age, has swelling of her lips, eyes, lumps on the bottom of her feet (not always at once).  She can always tell when it will occur because she gets a sensation in the area where it then swells.  She has had allergy testing, but nothing has concluded an answer for her.  She has done daily food logs, as well as tried refraining from certain foods, and nothing has slowed the symptoms.  Last night, she came home from work, when her upper lip was beginning to swell.  She took Benedryl and then continued to swell.  I was told that this morning both of her lips were swelling, and her throat was red.  My friend is desperate.  Sofia is going to be starting college in a few weeks and is very worried.  This has been going on for too long without any answers.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?

She has got to do a detox to rid the body of toxins.
Juice fasting..with only organic fruits.
Search out a Natural Health doctor for more information.
Look up Herbert Shelton.
These are suggestions for healing the body, not just dealing with symptoms.  however many times a person is having to deal with symptoms and get those under control first before feeling strong enough to heal.
Good luck to you and your friend.

She has an appointment fore the middle of Sept.  She is currently in Portugal and is due back this week.  I am anxious to see if she's had any episodes the past 2 weeks she's been gone.  Hopefully it can help narrow things down.
Thanks

I noticed you said she is going to an Immunologist.  My Allergist is also an immunologist.  If he/she cannot help please get her to an internal medicine doctor or and endocrinologist.  Rheumatologist see patients with autoimmune diseases if you think that's what it may be.
God Bless.  Please let us know how she is doing.

She does have a boyfriend, and her Mom jokes that she is allergic to him.  I guess anything is possible, but not likely.  I was corrected today that her symptoms have been occurring for 4 years instead of 3.  She and her boyfriend have been dating for 2 years.  Thanks.

Does she have a boyfriend and perhaps she is allergic to something on him?

I am suspicious of vaccines.  They like to put mercury in these products as a preservative.  If you think this could be the problem could look into a detoxification program.  Some supplements which are used to detoxify the body are vitamin C and garlic.  I take 3 grams of vitamin C and 2500mg of garlic everyday.  Good Luck.

Thank you for your response.  I'm not sure it's lipstick or perfume, since this has been going on for 3 years.  She is going to see an Immunologist in Sept.  Unfortunately, she's going to start college in a few weeks.  She's looking into a Holistic Medical Center that does intense testing.  It's kind of a last resort.  Hopefully someone can get her some answers.

I really wish I knew what to say.  I can feel your desperation.  I feel like I would push the allergist for information.  Is it maybe lipstick she is wearing or perfume or something that has changed recently?  She may need to go to an endocrinologist.  That would be my next step after the allergist or an internal medicine doctor.
Good luck and God Bless.
please let me know how Sofia is.

Sofia just came back from the ER and they prescribed her an EpiPen and Prednisone.  They feel it is an allergic reaction of some sort.  Of course, still no real answer. Along with the symptoms I listed before, she also gets hives all over her body at times.  Any ideas about this is very much appreciated.  She and her mother are very worried and frustrated.
