No one can seem to figure out what is wrong.

I am a 45 year old Indian woman. For four years i have been getting red spots on legs and arms. They have became more sever over the course of years. They slightly itch. They seem to run in a cycle, as in they appear red, they get more severe, and they turn a little brownish and then they go away. After that the cycle once again repeats after a couple days. I have seen many doctors and they don't seem to have an answer. I am  hoping that I may be able to find some kind of an answer.

I also have these red spots on my legs mainly, sometimes on my arms as well. Also goes in cycles, fade from red to brown and then go away. Many Dr's had no idea until I was referred to a Rheumatologist for other health problems and the spots were diagnosed as an autoimmune condition called "Henoch-Schonlein purpura". Google the condition, there are many sites with photo's so you can check to see if they look like the spots you are experiencing. Hope that helps.
