Hi again and you welcome,
I am glad you saw your doctor who will start investigating the possible causes of your pain.
I would like to suggest to you to have a mammogram, regardless if an abnormality was detected or not when your doctors examined you.
I really think it's important to have this test done, just to be on the safe side.
Please let us know how things are proceeding.
Take care...
thank you no she said my breast was fine but has orded me to take some blood test i have an underactive thyroid could be that but she has orded
so will see will let you know thank you for answering no one in my family has ever had cancer
Hi,
Pain in the breast could be due to many causes...Could be inflammation, hormonal imbalance, tight clothing, injury to the breast tissue, pulled muscle, Costochondritis,an arthritis pain that is experienced by older women or women who have an improper posture. Also certain types of medication such as the ones used for treatment of menopausal symptoms, tumors and unfortunately sometime also breast cancer.
As you can see there are so many factors that cause breast pain. You don't say if the doctors who examined you, ordered a mammogram or an ultrasound. If that was not done, then it's advisable to have your breasts examined, preferably by a Breast Specialist, so that your condition can be evaluated by proceeding with further testing if necessary.
Best wishes...
