I am also very sorry about your sister. I lost my twin sister to cancer only a couple of months ago. She got her cancer much later than I did and then died before I did.

I recommend that you ask your doctor for a prescription of Ativan to take temporarily for your anxiety. That may really help, and you shouln't be suffering more than youn need to.

Ativan is mild, short acting and has a low addiction potential.

Please keep us updated,

Best, KATRIN

I am so sorry for your loss. I can truly empathize with you because I lost my sister just before her 51st birthday to breast cancer. It's been 13 year and I still miss her very much. Because of my family history, dense breasts, fibrocystic changes and clusters of microcalcs, I've had multiple biopsiesmyself and I can understand your fear. There is no way to make you not worry but I would recommend trying to keep busy, pamper yourself a little, rely on friends and family for support to get through the wait for the biopsy and the results. Worry won't change anything and it is so much better to find out "what is" than to worry about "what ifs", believe me. It may also help to know that the majority of biopsies come back benign.  I am truly hoping you have an easy biopsy and benign results. We hope you'll get back to us and let us know how you're doing.
Sending you a big hug  (       ),

I too was terrified of biopsy. Just had mine done Wednesday. Originally was told spot magnification came back normal. 3 days later found that they had made a mistake and mine was Birads 4B, not normal! Biopsy determined it was fibrocystic changes? I don't have lumps or pain. Microcalcification cluster showed up on mammogram and the drama began. I can not relate to the depth of your worry but I was wroght with anxiety also. My grandmother had BC and that increased my anxiety. So sorry for the loss of your sister at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost 8 # in 2 weeks due to worry. Let me know how your biopsy turns out <3
