concerned

hi all, I am a 32 yr old mum of 3, i found a hard lump in my right breast a few weeks ago and was referred to the breast clinic, i had an ultrasound and they found that there were 2 solid lumps right next to each other, i then had a mammogram and they found another lump in my left breast. they are all solid lumps not cysts. i had core biopsys on all 3 lumps (apparently they looked suspicious), the results won't be back until next friday...I am really scared, can anyone put my mind at ease???

Good news at last, BC is Grade 3  invasive ductal carcinoma, ER pos, Her2 neg. was 2.5cm with only 1/11 lymph nodes affected all removed with clear margins (so no more surgery!!) next step is to meet the oncologist in a couple of weeks and then chemo will start

Still Smiling

I join zouzi in wishing you good luck today.

You certainly have displayed a good attitude, especially considering you are having to deal with BC on top of everyting else you've bee through recently.

But keep in mind we are here for you no matter whether you are feeling positive or negative, confident or scared, okay? We care!

Warm regards,

Thank you so much for the update, Twinkle - you sound like a real trooper regarding your surgery. I'm glad you're doing so well and hope you go on to recover completely from the surgery. I sure hope you won't need more, also. Hopefully, your treatment will also go well and you'll get to a point of no evidence of disease very soon. We continue to think of you and wish you all the best.
Hugs,
nc
