cats continuously puking

Hi.
My cat 2years old, he start puking yesterday.
I noticed in the morning there was a food contain vomiting (i found out in the basement and I think he puke middle of the night) then in the early morning I heard puking (brownish liquid)sound when I was still asleep. and couple hours later another one more clear liquid.

Then today. same things again. puke with food  in the morning, another brownish thick liquid, then evening another yellowish liquid puke.

But this 2days he is JUST acting normal as usual day. plays, chasing around his sister etc. but if there is another puking, then I think I should take him to a vet?

yup a hairball just as I thought, very common and it takes alot of upchucking to get them out sometimes....remember to groom him and give him some hairball gel to help keep rid of these things....gel avail at pet stores, or just a small amount of WHITE petroleum jelly if he'll take that, usually it has to be the hairball gel with some flavoring added, give him abt an inch of it on your finger to lick off about 2x weekly!!!!!
if these hairballs get stuck they will cause all sorts of digestive and bowel problems...so

feed him just small more frequent meals today and see if he can hold them down....I do hope your feeding canned foods?
I would also give him a hairball treatment its available in a tube/gel...usually flavored with malt, he'll lick it off your finger...just in case he does have a ball irritating his tummy.
If he starts to vomit again after eating you had best get him checked out....also be sure he has lots of water, he;ll be quite dehydrated after all the fluid he brought up and dehydration is dangerous...
let us know how it goes...hope he continues to be okay :)

Hi!
Yes, in the 2morning at first it was food he tried to puking out then later just a liquid of color in. I tried to look closer if there is any in it, but nothing.

But good new is he didn't puke in the morning!
we were talking about to take him to vet if he was still puking when we wake up today. Seems he is fine ;) But just to wait for a bit if it come back, we will take him in. cuz we don't want to think about worst scenario.

is he actually puking up or is it possible he's trying to bring up a hair ball?? this will often sound like puking b/c they are trying very hard to expel this mass of hair lodged in their stomachs ....
