Pumpkin for cats
My mother in laws cat, who will soon be mine, has always had a problem with constipation. Two weeks ago we started putting pumpkin in her canned food, and it has worked really well. My question is, can she be on the pumpkin daily, for good, or is it something you should just give a cat occasionally?
Yes she absolutely can take it every day, one of mine does but I mix it in a large batch of the homemade food I prepare so can't tell you exactly how much for a daily portion., I'd guess half teas or less??...just be cautious because too much fiber can lead to mega colon. And make VERY SURE it's the PURE canned pumpkin and never the pumpkin pie filling
