Female Cat, Blood in Urine

My 7 year old female cat has blood in her urine and is urinating in places other than the litter box. I took her to the vet
one week ago and was given a 10 day supply of Clavamox antibiotic but she still seems to be urinating in small amounts in the litter box and today I found a spot where she had peed bloody urine on the side of my dishwasher. I am really worried about her. Should I let her finish the antibiotic before taking her back to the vet? Any ideas on what's going on? She has always been on a dry food diet and I read that it isn't good for urinary health so I just started giving her wet canned food in addition.

My kitty had the surgery and seems to be doing well but still has blood in her urine. I'm almost finished with the second round of Clavamox antibiotic since her surgery and I still found tiny urine/blood droplets in tub.

glad you got her to the Vet when you did, this is a very painful as well as emergency situation....poor baby:(
you really need to read the following site Dr. Pierson talks about bladder stones and the cause
let us know how she is doing, sending you both some hugs...

blood in the urine does NOT necessarily mean an infection, however once any antibiotic has been started never discontinue on your own without a Vets advice...
Did the clinic check her PH level in the urine and measure for crystals? blood and urinating outside of the litter box are strong indicators of crystals..and dry food is a huge culprit..cats need plenty of fluids to maintain a healthy PH and keep bladder crystal free....ALWAYS feed wet canned food which is 78% moisture, cats NEVER drink enough to compensate for eating dehydrated dry kibble

Call the vet and see if he would like to see her before the end of the Clavamox.
