he went to a different vet and it was kind of too late, they think it was something neurological that he may have had his whole life that was triggered by the surgery, he went from barerly being able to walk to not using his back legs to pretty much not being able to move at all all within 3 days, he had to be put down because he got so bad. thanks for your advice

This could be very serious.  I'd get him to the vet now, please don't put this off.

I suggest you call your Vet and get an answer from them as to what may have happened to cause this because there is something very wrong!!.........was his spinal cord damaged somehow with rough manipulation while under anesthesia?
Or were the medications that were used to blame for a bad reaction? I don't know but something is wrong....2 weeks he should be better and NOT worse, you need an explanation why and what can be done.
I will include a website that may lead you to some answers...its on the COMPLICATIONS of neutering read this all over before talking to your Vet. good luck and please let us posted on the outcome for this poor little fellow...
