Worried about Snickers

I was home last week with the flu and noticed some unusual behavior with my boy.  First off i noticed his litter box was soaked and i mean soaked.   We have had unusually warm weather and thought it was just humidity, well that isnt the case.  I cleaned his box every other day and am doing it everyday now due to the wetness.  No pipes or anything above his box.  All wood is dry.  I havent changed litter nor have i changed his food.  His appetite isnt as great as it was but he has had a HUGE increase in drinking water.  He has been laying by the waterbowl and sleeping which he does quite often now.  He is still grooming himself to a point.  He doesnt give himself the all over baths like he usually did.  Stools are good.  He is now 11.  Has had kidney issues when he was younger and eats a specialty food that has worked wonders for him.  I know he needs to be seen by the vet and i will be making the appt in the morning but i am hoping someone can shed some light on this.    Thank you~

Sorry to read about Snickers' continuing difficulty.

His situation is a rough one, I can sympathize, not just for Kessie's sake, but because my father in law is also ill from diabetes complications.

Snickers is no less a family member than pop Megas, I believe.  So you are both in my thoughts.

Hopefully just means an insulin adjustment, Sara.  Have you been able to syringe feed?  Might make him feel better with that alone if his appetite is still down...and since he must eat before those injections.  (And sorry for referring your boy as a girl on Pip's thread).  I am sure you are beside yourself with all this.  Deepest prayers continuing for Snickers and prayers for strength for you, my friend.  ♥

Snickers is backsliding right now.  He has been living close to the water bowl again and the litter box is wetter than normal.  His blood sugar has gone down but not alot.  He is losing weight which he needed too do anyways but now it is getting hard to grab the scruff of his neck as there isnt alot of extra skin.  I have stayed rather quiet as i dont have alot of answers and others have sick babies too and need the help.

How am i doing?  Im not...........

So , the poor fella is not eating enough, uh? Sniff...
I do know what its mean, my "top model " is almost anorexic...
I just asked for a new flavor of food for her, It will last a week to come AND I HOPE SHE LIKES ( and the price be the same or almost-I'm so fed up with her strikes that told the guy bring it anyway)
For sure your situation is quite worse because Snickers is old and is sick but Loreena is also my first  much waited cat in life and I completely understand you
