Hi Charlene. Sammie remains a friend of the group and it's lovely to keep hearing his name here. I always think the festive season is a tough time for many of us, as we can easily start reminiscing about happier times with our best friends. But the alternative is to put them to the back of our minds, and that's just not something I can ever do. I believe by talking about our dogs that have passed, we give them a voice ... and that means they remain as much a part of our daily lives like they always were. Even now, I catch myself saying to my two hounds when they get into mischief, "Hey, BB would bark at you for doing that!".
I wish you good health and happiness for 2015. Let's make it a good one.

Hi Lynne. Hiya Darbie. Delighted to hear Darbie is doing well. The new year is with us and, for some, this represents new beginnings and hopeful times ahead. It strikes me you are very busy in your hobbying and plans for an Etsy shop (that sounds like a great idea). Here, Christmas was quiet, but as always, it takes me from new year well into the first week to pack all the christmassy stuff away, two trees, endless decs, and .... phew ... two flights of stairs to get the boxes into the loft space.
I wish you both health and happiness for 2015. Keep us posted on how things go.

Hi Charlene!
I miss the forum and I hope everyone and their babies are doing well coming into the New Year! I think of you often!! I can imagine that Natasha and Bonnie are inseparable and bringing you great JOY! Last week I went to the vet and a woman came thru the door with Sammie's twin! I was shocked at the resemblance! I continue to keep Sammie's picture nearby and always remember your kindnesses as well as the support and care given by Tony and all:)
Darbie is doing very well. Doll was home for the most part the past 2 weeks so Darbie has been in her glory bouncing back and forth between her mothers. I never realized how time consuming the winter months were since I've joined the forum since last June(?). Besides the holidays and contending with unpredictable bad weather ( wow, we've had lots! ), the art room is in full swing for what seems like 24/7 ( my brain doesn't seem to turn off when the lights do! ) My signature pieces are a series of carved figurines (polymer clay) and Adirondack Chairs ( bass wood - sizes ranging from 1" -5". Basically a hobby for over 25 years, I hope to get an Etsy shop open in the months ahead:)
A very Happy and Healthy New Year to You and Family! Stay Warm and think Springtime:)
Fondly,
Lynne and Darbie:)
