perineum

Hello All,

I'd like to start out that I'm a 16 year old female and I'm not sexually active. I have this soft kind of squishy lump on my perineum (between my anus and vagina) and I'm not really sure if it's normal or not. I know it hasn't been there for all my life but it's been there for a few months to a year or so. I have no pain at all, no bleeding, no fluids from it that I can tell. It's clearly visible if your looking there but if your not looking directly at it you wouldn't know it's there. I only found out about it from when I was going to the bathroom and I felt it, it's pretty large and I can squeeze it with no pain.

I really don't want to go to the doctor yet, especially if it's just normal, I haven't told anyone else so I've just been waiting to see what happens.
Any help would be appreciated, PLEASE!

Thank you all.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be a cyst, lipoma, wart or some other benign growth of skin. My sincere advice would be to consult a gynecologist/ dermatologist and get it evaluated.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

I would also like to say that my anus sometimes hurts and feels like it's stretching and it's itchy after I go to the bathroom.
