Hi

Burning lips may be due to allergic reactions or a fungal infection. Burns such as in the case of photosensitivity reactions may also cause burning lips. I suggest that you refrain from drinking hot beverages and eating spicy food if you have been doing this. Smoking may also predispose to lip conditions so it is also best to avoid this. In the absence of redness, swelling and ulcerations, I would not recommend any medicated creams or medications at this point. Just continue to observe the condition. If the symptoms persist, you may seek consult with an internist for a full work up.
