Cleaning my body

All the symptoms of a yeast infection were present, the itching, burning, discharge and odor. But before all of the symptoms became serious I was dealing with slight discharge and order for a while I would say a month. That itself was hygiene issue I was battling. I went to the doctor, she did prescribe me with medication that would take care of the itching and burning, but she informed me that the yeast may not go away. It didn’t along with the very ignoring odor. I’m on the depo shot and do not have a period so my body is not able to cleanse itself that way. The doc said yeast might be its way of cleaning the body.  I hate that and wish I could find a way to get a new way. My question is how I clean my body without having a period to do it naturally.

i would get off the depo, that is NO GOOD for you. i was on it for 3 cycles and i gained over 30 pounds (which took a long time to lose), also developed every side effect possible. and the yeast infections, were the biggest problems. the doctors had told me i had to get cervical cancer testing which is shown in an HPV test, which i would ask for.
But as soon as i was off the depo, it took my body 3 months to get back to normal as far as the symptoms went. try the pill or something with the lowest estrogen.

i have had many yeast infections and they can last for sometime, but they can also be mistaken for bacterial infections of the vagina or urethra or an std. itching, burning, discharge and odor can definitely mean more than a yeast infection. you will need a medication for something other than a yeast infection. so you might want to ask your doctor about all std cultures and bacterial testings. also it could be an allergic reaction.

Well then you must need something stronger becuase the yeast is still there.  I would go back and get another look and make sure it is yeast.  Usually yeast does not smell.  Bacteria infections smell bad.

Well she told me that i could have an std herpes and took a culture test which all came back negative. i do believe it was a yeast infection because the meds she did give the symptoms went away but the odor and yeast came back. she wrote meds for a pill and med that i had to insert into the virgina.

first off, did you actually get diagnosed with a yeast infection or is this a bacterial infection of some sort?  Acedophilis is a vitamin that prevents bacterium, so you can try that along with the over the counter medicine for yeast infections, the medicine you insert into your vagina. there is also a more powerful medication u can ask your doctor to give you. It is one dose, and you insert it and the yeast should be gone within 2 days...first you have to find out what it is.  they need to look at your infecction under a microscope
