Endometrosis & Periods

I have been fighting a 6 month long battle with severe pelvic pain. I have been thru dozens of tests and procedures. I personally feel it could be endometrosis because I have almost all of the symptoms! I talked with my doctor, but because I do not get periods due to having the mirena IUD, she said it isnt possible. Is this true? I still get menstrual symptoms, but no bledding. I notice the pain is worse during this time every month. Any advice is helpful!!!

It is possible, especially if you had any endo before you had the IUD inserted. Also take a look at this:

This is tells you that endo has more components than just hormones.

Yeah I think that is what I need! In the past couple months I have had CT scans, ultrasounds, cytoscopy, endoscopy, and colonoscopy, all without answers. I have also have high levels of microscopic blood in y urine during this time.

My doctor made an appt for me to MRI. Thats how they found i had endometrosis.  We just thought it was fibroid, so glad i did MRI.

have them check for adenomyosis and fibroids. They found my adeno through vaginal ultrasound.
