Had lap on wed/is it normal to feel gassy?

Just had my fourth lap this past Wednesday and I feel unusually gassy when lying down and somewhat crampy. Is this normal? Also my middle upper back is sore. I never felt this way before I think. Has anyone feel unusually gassy like that? I don't know if I should call my doctor. Endo and adhesions were found and removed.

I remember one of my doctors telling me that if you just sit and not move it takes longer for your body to release it. If you move around (not excessive) it helps to release the pressure. I hope it goes away for you soon. Sometimes that can be worse than the actual recovery from the surgery.

Thanks, It just felt different this time. I never felt that gassy feeling with my other three surgery. I thought maybe I over did it when I went to the store for alittle bit. So maybe being out and about might be helping.

Yeah, it can be normal....they pump gas in to your belly to move other organs out of the way....and until your body gets it out of its system you might feel some discomfort. I had that with my gallbladder surgery and both of my laps. Its very unpleasant, I know.
