PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi guys sorry for the essay!!
I had a laparoscopy for endo in december but everything is fine now im healed etc etc back to normal....
I am now 2 and a half weeks late on period and my gp has said that the operaration shouldn't affect my periods? i have been trying ttc for over a year now, i started by getting brown/pink spotting (very light) for a couple of days and now its gone to light bleeding, its not like a normal period but its enough for me to wear a pad.
I have just noticed a musuc/like clump in the toilet? wat is this? could i be pregnant? i did a home pregnancy test on friday and it was negative? please can someone help???
