What causes endometrial thickness?

Hi all, I am 23 yrs of age and unmarried, working as the senior manager-client servicing for an event management compnay in Bangalore, India.

I have been bleeding for the past two months and finally when i met the doctor, he asked me to do a rectal scanning. On doing the scanning I was told that my endometreum is thicker than the normal size and have been prescribed primolut-N tablets for 11days. Its been 5 days since Iv been taking the tablets and so my bleeding has come to a stop.

Why does this happen to someone of my age? and what can be done to avoid this?...does this mean that I will not be able to give birth?

There is no way to prevent it.  It is just the way your body is.  I wish I had something better to say to you.
