Please help, I'm so worried :(

My pain started 6 months ago. My pain is in my lower left abdomen/pelvis. I also get pain in my lower right sometimes but it's not nearly as bad. My pain is constant, I have it every single day and every single hour of everyday. Sometimes, very seldom, it's mild. For the most part it's moderate to severe. The severe pain can last a day or it can last days or even weeks at a time to the point I feel like I need to go to the hospital everyday when this is occuring. I have always had bad cramps during my period, not a heavy bleeder, I'd say moderate and light flow. I've had transvaginal ultrasounds 3 times and one pelvic. Back in May I was told I had a small functional cyst on my left ovary. I was glad they finally found something as I had been to the Dr a million times by then and all they had done was urine tests and I had a CT scan that showed nothing. I thought my problem was solved, I just had a cyst and it would go away or I'd just have to get it removed if it didn't. Well I went back for my 3rd transvaginal and the cyst is gone. I am still having really bad pain and also get pain in my lower back. The pain gets so sharp sometimes. The other night I was up until 8 in the morning as the pain was so bad I couldn't get to sleep. This has happened before. My pain hurts more when I push on it, lay on it or if I try to do too much activity. I'm not sexually active at the moment so I can't say if I would have worse pain during sex or not. The last time I had sex though I had no pain. When I went in this time my Dr. told me that my last ultrasound said my uterine lining was 15 mm thick and this time it was 13 mm thick. Is that good or bad? She said it was most likely thick as I'm supposed to get my period in like 11 days. She also said I had fluid in the culdesac but that was also because my period was coming. Is this stuff true? She also told me I had follicles on my ovaries but that was normal in someone my age, 29. I'm really worried as she wants me to have laproscopy and if I have endo she said she will burn it off. I've read that burning it off isn't as good as excision, is that true? I questioned her but she said that burning it off is better as it will ensure you get it all as with excision you may miss some. She also mentioned taking Lupron if she finds endo, but I've read bad things about that, anyone here take it? Rants/Raves about it? I tried Yaz for all of two weeks, couldn't take it, gave me a lot of bad side effects, mainly depression. Also don't know if this is coincedence or not but my pain was severe the entire time I was on the Yaz, mentioned that to her but she didn't really comment on that. Do you think this could be endo from what I have stated? I'm so worried and I really hope I don't have endo. I know I have something though as it's been 6 months, I barely even leave the house anymore because of pain and I'm really sick of it. I feel like my life is over :( Thanks for any help you can give with my questions and for letting me rant.

Thanks for the replies. I am soooo worried I have endo and if I don't then I'm worried about what it is :( I have been in pain for 6 months straight. The pain NEVER goes away. Sometimes it's mild, moderate, or severe. It's horrible. I barely leave the house anymore. It's very depressing. I feel like my life is over and I haven't even been diagnosed yet. I'm just so sick of the pain and don't understand why it never goes away. It's just so weird how it started it was literally I was fine and then boom one day the pain hit and hasn't stopped since. I'm so sorry about the experiences you both have had, I hope you get better! Do you guys have pain 24/7 like I do or is it mainly related to your period? I don't think I will go on Lupron if I do have it. I've tried BCP and it made me very depressed so I can't imagine what Lupron would do to me if I took it. I'm scared my life is over and that I will be in pain for the rest of my life. I just hope I find out what is wrong soon and that it's easily fixed. I'm hoping they are just missing something. I don't want to have a lifelong disease that will cause me pain like this forever, I can't handle that. I'm so bored as it is from never going anywhere anymore. I can't work. It's very frustrating. And to top it off I have no insurance :( Thanks for letting me vent and thanks for the support and help :)

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I was diagnosed with endo last year, after we have been trying to conceive and nothing happened. I went to my OBG-Y and asked him why I was having pain during intercourse, my period also heavy and seriously painful cramps.  ---anyway he says may be is endo, I went thru. laparoscopy, it was severe he could not burn it. So he put me on LUPRON, this is crazy treatment, to tell the truth LUPRON is awful, worst, I felt so depressed, thought suicide, hot flashing but God is good!. Towards the end of LUPRON I was pregnant and I did not know, my OB told me before the treatment that there is no way I can't get pregnant. I'm saying this in case if you decide to take LUPRON. Please do not WORRY after the LUPRON and no period bcos you might be pregnant. DO NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATION at this time!!!!!!
BAD NEWS I had miscarriage because I took med. to bring my period at the time, I did the pregnancy test before I took the med but it showed NEGATIVE. (I was on LUPRON for a year)
BAD NEWS  endo is back now and I'm going for 2nd surgery with new doctor, this time my new doc. is going to burn it, because toward to my period to comes I end up in ER pain worst than before. I felt like I was dying.
GOOD NEWS---burning it will gave me more chance to conceive.
ADVICE---try to have sex with your spouse, tell him to be gently if you're feeling pain.
ADVICE---I will suggest burning endo, but you need to do more research to find a good doc. (very important).
ADVICE---if you choice LUPRON, you need to be around good people to support you, you'll need it!!!
If there is any question, let me know. We are here to help each other.
---Take care

Hi, iwas diagnosed about 5 yrs ago with endometriosis. It took my doctor about a year and a half to actually realise i had it (laparascopy). I knew there was something not quite right(apart from the fact i wasnt getting pregnant) because every so often i would get this excruciating sharp pain down by my left tube(took my breath away). As soon as it came though it left....this wwent on for some time...period time i have very very bad lower back pain and also pain from underneath when needing to pass urine... I think your best bet is to have your laparoscopy if none of the other meds are working . i,ve had 3 laps until now. Two times to laser(burn) the endo and one to remove my tubes(diseased) As for the fluid in the uterus i seem to have this constantly(comes and goes but mine is old blood,,,,,its a mystery!!!) At the mo having Arvekap injections for the endo and fluid to see if it will help me(recently had 3 failed ivf attempts and desperate to go again) Doc says if doesnt work this time will have to stop the ivf cause it wont work the way i am..have been clear since 1st sept, come home tonight and the black fluid has just appeared again!!!! (the inj also stops the periods so i dont think is normal, will phone doc tomorrow....maybe if you have endo i could be pushing on one of yoiur organs and thats the pain...i used to have in my legs(from the endo)....Let me know how you get on,hope i havent depressed or worried you evebn more.Better still i hope its not endo youn have...
take care..

Forgot to mention my pain does not feel like menstrual cramps or stomach cramps, it's a horrible sharp pain that I had never felt in my life til 6 months ago when this started. Also I have tried Advil, tylenol, naproxen, darvocet and none of them help my pain at all. My pain doesn't get better or worse with a bowel movement.
