Started Lupron on 9/23. Just want to hear from others on it.

I need help from others on Lupron. I know moodswings are normal side effects but does it last the entire time I am on lupron?  What are some ways I can ease all the side effects.

I chose lupron after trying 3 different BC pills and Provera. Nothing helped the pain. I hope I made the right decision and it helps me. I am only 31 and I want to do whatever I can before they tell me a hysterectomy is my only choice. I want 1 more baby in the near future.

Let me know what your experiences are with Lupron.  My plan is to be on it for 1 year.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info on Add Back. I'll ask my dr about it. no joint pain yet. Just horrible mood swings. I had to leave my house and go for a walk last night I had a major meltdown.
I am going to seek counseling for depression issues. I have a hard time with depression meds.
The dr told me 6 months t0 a year was her plan. After 6 months she'll check me and see if it has helped the endo.

This is my third round. The first two were crazy. This time the only way I agreed was to have less side effects.

I was told to take the add back therapy in which I did but I was also told to take 1000iu of Vitamin c and d. That is supposed to help with the joint pain.

As for the moodswings, the wellbutrin XL that I take for depression totally has helped me in this area.

I could have sworn that the most you could be on Lupron is 6 months max because of bone loss.  I will have to read up on that again.
