endo??

I am a 31 year old female that has been suferring with endo for 15+ years now.  I had my first lap in Aug 2009 and then again with a specialist in jan 2010 bc the pain wouldnt go away.  I have had every test know to man for pain, bleeding, etc. (bladder test, kidney tests, laps, colon, you name it Ive had it) Im currently on a 6 month treatment of Lupron, which I thought was helping at first but the pain is back everyday and now bleeding off and on again.  I am so over this!  I have an appointment at Shands now to see if they can help find out whats wrong.  Has anyone else had this issue??  My gyno says it might not be the endo anymore..  What else could it be??  I am so confused!  I dont want kids and wonder if it will help if they just take everything out.  This is so frustrating and no one understands!  My poor boyfriend.  Any sugesstions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!  I have tried surgery, Laps, pain meds, etc.  Nothing has worked.  I am seeing an endocronologist at Shands on Oct. 6th.  I even work for a group of gastro's and they couldnt find anything wrong on that end.  :-)

they say the best thing for the pain from endo is to have a hyster. although i would seriously consider if you really dont want to have kids, because it is a permanent surgery.

I'm in the same place you are at. I had my 1st lap in 2005 since then had 2 more, have done all the other test out there and the lupron which seemed to work at first but about the 4th month it got really bad.

I would talk to your Dr about going to a pain mangment center. Also endo can be so small that when they go in durning the lap they can't find it all and every time you have a lap it causes scare tissue which can cause pain as well, so having it all removed may not help.

hopefully meds will work for you, what have you tried

It could be endo, but have they also done hormonal testing to see if in addition to that, there are some hormonal imbalace(s)?
I had endo, but I also had a lot of thyroid and pituitary and what not issues, so all the lupron, depo etc. shots did not help at all.
So maybe you need to see an endo - endocrinologist!
