I suffering of colites

What kind of diet could help to solve this issue! I am taken too many pils for the blod pressure and I cannot take more pils!!!

Is there  evidence  that milk ( lactose ) in ice cream can hurt the patient with various types of colitis?  Is there truly an allergic type of colitis from milk in adults?

I take asacol 3 times a day and it keeps me in remission. As for food, some people have triggers (milk, nuts, etc...). Best to keep a food journal for a while to see if you react to certain things. I eat pretty much everything, but for some reason I get irritation from roasted meats--almost instantly. Watch out for dairy aswell, as lactose is difficult to digest and can cause problems in a sensitive colon.
