Should I be concerned?

I do not enjoy the taste of most foods and therefore do not eat very much.  However, I have not lost weight.  I have been trying to eat more vegetables and often have a "very loose stool".  This has been going on for 6 months at least. What might be the problem?

I'm not sure, but if you don't have enough bulk to your waste, it'll sometimes give you diarrhea, particularly if you eat a lot of veggies.  One thing that stimulates the appetite are protein and the B vitamins.  You can get those vits by adding whole grains and salads to your meals, and of course the protein comes from stuff like eggs and steak.  The grains alone will probably reduce the diarrhea and also give you a better appetite.

You could try eating some 100 percent whole wheat toast with a little butter and one shake of garlic salt on it, or Cheerios with Acidophilus milk with fresh blueberries and sugar on top plus a small glass of juice, or scramble some eggs with cheese with a bit of salt and pepper in a little olive oil a couple times a week and make a gravy out of the oil and pour it on top of a roll.
