Having been tested recently myself, you may have a rapid emptying motility disorder or possibly bacterial overgrowth, food allergy, just to name a couple of things.
Have you consulted with a GI doctor? If not, I suggest you do so and have some tests run.
In the mean time, maybe try rating 5 or 6 meals a day, nothing spicy or foods that would cause gas, no sodas, etc. try using Gas-X after meals.
I've had your problem for a long time. No reliable answers from multiple doctors. I can never predict the occurences and can never relate it to one food group, preparation of food, etc. Most often there is no warning and no symptoms prior to episodes. This goes on for most days. I have learned to avoid salad greens since I'm sure that tho I crave them, they can lead to catastropic action. Usually, one bowel movement is followed by many. One thing I have found to be very helpful is an over-the-counter product marketed by Walmart, Equate Anti-diarrheal tablets. I am not promoting this brand, but have tried other brands containing the same ingredients and was very disappointed. I have acquaintances to whom I have reccomended this product and they all say it works for them. I keep it in my purse and often, if eating away from home, I take a tab before eating.
Hi there,
Gas in the stomach can lead to bloating, nausea, flatulence, belching etc.The various causes of gas in stomach are IBS, food poisoning, indigestion, lactose intolerance etc.You may try taking over the counter antacids for relief in symptoms. Avoid eating fried spicy foods. Persistent and excessive gas in the stomach may require medical attention. Consult a doctor and get evaluated. I hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
