side effect problem?

about a year ago i was proscribe clindamycin and ever since then i been having problems i was taking it after i got my root canal done i was taking it four times a day of 300mg one day i had uncontrollable diarrhea that was orange i kept taking the the medication for a few more days and i kept on having diarrhea then i stopped taking it. it took about a week to stop having diarrhea but then my pooh started to have mucus in it. after a few months the mucus was gone but since then i have uncontrollable gas it happens about every 8 seconds and has been happening for about a year now. i been to a few different doctors and told them everything and gave them the name of the medication of clindamycin because thats when all these symptoms had started they told me to take probiotics and vitamins. i been taking them every day and nothing has gotten better the doctor seemed to not to believe me about anything or something so i stopped going to the doctor and been living with this problem for a year just trying to ignore it but it has caused me so much anxiety and im very worried. right now im trying to make an appointment with a gastroenteritis. im really scared of what i have. does anyone know about the problems im having?

there would be times where i couldnt have a bowl movement for about 4 to 5 days now i can have a bowl movement everyday and there is still a little bit of mucus. there was a little bit of blood several months ago but i havent seen any since. Right now im taking spring valley super strength probiotic but i have used many different brand names. and yes i stool testing for my doctor but i dont know what they tested for and they didnt find anything that they was testing for so i havent gone to the doctors. but i am trying to make an appointment now to see a specialist.

Besides the gas, have your bowel habits changed? Any mucus, blood or anything else?

How long have you been taking the probiotics and what brand?
