Right Ear Issue

Last night, I noticed that my right ear was feeling strange. The inside of my ear felt slightly full and muffled, and the outside of my ear, near the tragus, felt a little numb but not tingly. I can still hear fine, but if I make noise around my right ear, it sounds slightly more muffled than that of my left. There is no ear pain, if anything a slight discomfort because I'm noticing my ear more now that it's bothering me. My ears also tend to lightly pop when I swallow, and I'm not getting that as much in my right ear.

This morning my ear feels about the same. However I am noticing that in the light office breeze from the air conditioning, I can feel a wet feeling in my right ear, which isn't happening in my left.

On a side note, I have been dealing with allergies for about two months now because I discovered I am allergic to the dust in my new kittens litter. I had been constantly sneezing and blowing my nose, runny nose here and there. No ear issues until now.

Any idea what this could be? Would it be best to see a doctor or wait it out?

Your ear is clogged up, and the eustachian tube isn't draining right.  I've had this problem in both ears for years, but usually one is worse than the other. If you can take pseudofed, do it, along with some Mucinex and allergy medicine.  If that doesn't work after a few days the doctor can give you steroid nasal spray, but try over the counter remedies first.
