correction re: my post above- saw with hiatal hernia, you can feel full without eating, whereas with gastroparesis, you can feel full after only a few bites
You entitle your post "gallbladder pain in LUQ". But your gallbladder is generally more toward the RUQ, not the left upper quadrant. Your stomach is on the LUQ side, and your pancreas lies behind your stomach. Did a doctor say your gallbladder was in bad shape?
Did a gastroenterologist scope you with an upper GI (an EGD) and look for things like a hiatal hernia, which can cause the kind of symptoms you describe? Did they also check you for gastroparesis which can also cause the type of symptoms you are describing? If you have not seen a GI specialist to get a proper diagnosis so you can hopefully get the treatment that will bring you relief, I hope you can get an expedited referral to one by your family physician. This is definitely no way you want to live!
I have had gallbladder surgery and your symptoms sound familiar yet you probably know that you need to get it checked out by your primary doctor, general practicioner or gastroenterologist and be sure the receptionist knows how bad your pain is so you can get in asap. If the pain is really bad you need to go to the ER, or something like Urgent Care. If money or just no insurance is a problem go to your state hospital ER. They are usualy teaching hospitals and will see you whether you have money, insurance or not. You can always work with the financial aspects later. If it i your gallbladder the danger lies in it bursting and that becomes life threatening. Get it checked!!!
