Lump sensation in throat when swallowing, SCAREDDDD

Hello, last week I had a sore throat (burning sensation) for 2 days, then I developed a dry cough. The thing is that around the fourth day or so, I starte having discomfort when swallowing. It felt like I had a lump on the back of my throat that did not make it difficult to swallow, but uncomfortable.
I am terrifed this could be soemthing serious, please somebod help me with this. Sore throat for 2 days, dry cough like for 5 days, not serious just mild coughing, felt the lump on the back like for 2 or 3 days.
Please, any insight would be appreciated.

You don't have to have a fever to be harboring strep.  There are other things which cause the same symptoms. Thyroid, abcess, or even an irritation from something you swallowed.  I am glad your symptoms are gone.

Hello, thank you very much.
I do not think is strep since I did not get a fever or anything else. It was just a sore burning throat for 2 days, then cough, it was during the last days actually that I felt that like obstacle when swallowing, not hrt nor sore, just an obstacle. Somewhere I read it could habve been inflammation of the pharynx. After the cough ended a day after so did the obstacle, now I swallon normally. You think this coudl have been that?
