Thank You, all so much! I am going to try all of this! :)
It helps to study for short periods of time on different subjects. Biology for a while, then switch to math, then switch to writing. Try to find a place where you can always study in the same place and do nothing else there. No eating. No day-dreaming. Spaced studying is always better than cramming. Study hard, take a day break and then study the same material hard the third day. Study something else in-between. Try to do studying the same time every day. Try studying then going out for exercise or a walk, and then studying a while, then exercising, and then studying again. Avoid eating or drinking sugar before studying. No earphones. Soft classical music in the background is O.K.
Lol, nothing is wrong with you, many people have the same problem. Set a timer for 20 minutes, and study for that time. Then take a 10 minute break, and do it again. It will make for longer study sessions, but might make them easier in the long run.
Thanks, I'm actually in the library studying, but I just cant seem to focus. Someone told me I might have ADHD, but I dont think its that severe. I have never been able to focus long enough to actually study, and in college I need to, I just dont know any other way to stay focus. The only things I have with me now is my laptop, and cell phone, and my cell phone isnt on, when I try to study I turn everything off, but it still doesnt help me.
I don't think something is wrong with you. Sometimes during my study hours I start to feel like that, just examine the reasons why you get like that, coffee before study? Coffee gets me overly anxious while I am stuying. Also cell phones, the television, or things that may be interupting, or simply study in the library of your college or find a comfortable zone for your study time.
