Over the past 12 months have taken medrol dose packs for fluid in the ear. When do I have to become concerned about side effects. How much is too much. Have recently had a flair up tinnitus and doctor has prescribed dose pack for me if I would like to try it.

How long have you been on them? Usually, steriods are not used on a long time basis, but, then again, everyone is different, the tinnitus could be the sign of high blood pressure starting, I would certainly check with your PCP regarding how long a term you should be on these.
