I've never really heard of getting an antibiotic for a yeast infection and God knows, I've had a few of them.  As a matter of fact, every time I am given an antibiotic for any ailment I may have, I have to ask for medication for yeast infection.  Antibiotic are known for causing yeast infections.  Perhaps you should ask your doctor to give you something like monistat or you can buy it over the counter.
