Mononucleosis risk?

A guy I know had mononucleosis late last September. Got better by last week in October. He kissed a girl from late December to early January. I do not believe she ever showed signs or symptoms of mono. I kissed the same girl this past weekend, March 15th. How likely am I to contract mono? Could he have given it to her without her knowing? If she has already had it, would I still have a chance at contracting it? I do not know whether or not I have ever had mono. All i know is 50% of people get it by the age of 6. And what are the chances I never show any symptoms of mono if contracted? I am 22, they are 21. Thanks

No I don't have symptoms. It was very recently, i thought it took a while to show symptoms. just wondering how long someone is contagious with it and my chances of contracting it, like if EVERYONE would get it after engaging with someone who had it.

Do you have symptoms? The chances are low that you would not show symptoms of mono. If you are concerned go see your doctor and they can do a blood test to check if you have ever had it.
