Anxiety and Stress
I can feel my glands but they are not swollen. Every now and then when I get tense. I have never been this nervous before so I don't know if it is really stress or anxiety. My stomach always feels warm and upside down. I was exposed to unprotected sex 2 1/2 weeks ago. I tested negative already but ofcourse that does not count until 6 to 8 weeks. Does anyone know how bad the symptoms usually are and what are the first signs? No fever, no headaches, no tireness only when i have been up for days, no cough, one time diarreah. My partner thinks I am crazy because he got sick with mono or flu like symptoms two weeks ago. I freaked out. He says he is completely healthy and I am crazy.My nasal passage way feels dry no bugars.
I don't quite understand..you don't "know him" how? You obviously know him well enough...if ya know what I mean! ;0)
Just plead with him that even with his reassurances...that you are so anxiety ridden...that the test would help you in the biggest way! If he says no again...then there's nothing you can do but wait.
Remember, despite you having a risk...it is a low one. The odds are VERY VERY much in your favor that you are fine.
My advice to you is to stop looking for symptoms...and try to ride it out till testing time if he won't test. And, ask your doc for something for the anxiety in the meantime...trust me, it will help a lot.

I have tried to get him to take one but shamely I don't know him that way. My left under armpit is sore I can tell if it my gland. When I touch it I just feel my muscle in the back upper outer part of my armpit, is is sore. I am really thinking now that I have caught something. What is the best way to tell if it is swollen? Can I get swollen glands on the 16th day?
It is anxiety.
If your partner is the one you had unprotected sex with...why not just have him go for a test? Then, you won't have to wait to be tested.
