5th generation test accuracy
Anyone here know anything about 5th generation hiv tests? I sent my blood sample today for it so I’ll have result tomorrow but I’m not sure what the accuracy is on it, my last exposure was aroun April 28th thx

1) You haven't had a risk. Any test is accurate and conclusive.
2) This is a new test and appears to be an at-home only test. The only real info available is from the marketing materials stating it is 99.8% accurate after two weeks. I have not seen any information about this test apart from on online sites that sell it. That doesn't mean it's not accurate, but I'm not going to trust any figures that aren't long-term tested and that don't come from an independent source (e.g., a doctor).
