I talked to the woman and she said that she has no HIV, and all the Chinese sources i read said that nobody tested 6 weeks negative and then tested positive later, so can i rest until the 3 months mark? expect 100% negative result at the 3 months mark? please somebody help me
i knew that they use these tests as well
The specific tests currently performed include:
• ABO Rh
• Hemoglobin
• Alanine aminotransferase(ALT)
• Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)
• Hepatitis C virus antibody (anti-HCV)
• HIV antibody (anti-HIV)
• Serologic test for syphilis
• Nucleic acid amplification testing (NAT) for HIV, HCV, HBV
Dr's are in the Expert forum which is currently closed.
Symptoms are useless to speak of.
last thing i want to ask about that can HIV symptoms occur in the 42nd day after possible exposure?
thank you very much for your replies, appreciated
Doctor i would appreciate if you answer my questions, and as i know that some Chinese doctor did work with you together, so if you had any idea about the HIV test is used in the Shanghai blood bank
All i can say is that any negative is reassuring and blood banks take testing for hiv very serious.
please i am too worried, did you ever see or knew about HIV ELISA test that turns positive after 6 weeks negative test?
and i would appreciate if someone told me what test do they use in Shanghai blood bank, because for sure i do not hope to hurt anyone else
Hi, your tests were accurate and 3 months post exposure would be conclusive negative.
