Test requirement

I had a sex at Amsterdam red light district around five months back. It was with the use of condom. This was the only out side exposure (other than with wife) in last 18 years.   After that I had test at 2 months and 2 and half months. Both were negative. My last test (as a part of my insurance health check-up plan) was after 4.5 months of exposure, test was HIV1 and HIV2 – result is non reactive.

However, I am feeling mild fever – inside body and feeling hot/temperature in side the body. Slight joints and body ache.  This fever is on and off since last three months. (twice or thrice a week)

Is it necessary to get it tested again after six months as many sites recommends six months test as conclusive.

Calm down, people answer questions for free and on our own time.

You did not need to test, you said you had protected sex...no risk. And you test at 4.5 months proves it. For any real risk a conclusive test is at 3 months.
