Worried, Need Reassurance. Please Answer, I'm Begging!
Ok, first of all, i'm sorry for the long post. These are all my thoughts gathered here. I'm a Male.
I know that ARS Symptoms are a terrible way to diagnose an HIV infection, but, i guess they can help to ease my mind a little bit, i really need someone to tell me "yes, your conclusions are fine" and stuff, cause, i've been thinking this every day since 4 months.
I've read almost every ARS question and stadistic according to HIV transmission, but i can't be calmed, so, here goes my story.
1 Year and 11 months ago, i had sex with a CSW, unprotected oral and vaginal sex, 5-10 minutes, no longer, no sores, no cuts, no std's, nothing. Asked her if she had anything, she said no, she said she had a "sanity card" certifyng that she was clean. I knew that sex workers had that thing and she told me without me not even asking about it. Well, I never thought about that exposure or HIV until a few months ago. I must say i had absolutely no symptoms of ARS, nothing, absolutely none. After that exposure, i had sex with a girl at work, i ejaculated inside her a lot of times and again, she had no symptoms at all, nothing, i know she has good health because she is constantly worried about her health, and she has a boyfriend wich hasn't had any symptoms either. Then i got in a relationship which i'm still in, it's been 1 year and 4 months with my current girlfriend. I've unprotected sex with her because, again, i never thought about HIV, so, unprotected sex with her, for a year.
Now, on February 15, of the present year, i had sex with my GF, i ejaculated inside her, and this is what has keeped me up at night.
8+ weeks later of that event, she had a viral tonsilitis, you know, red, no white dots, regular tonsilitis. Lasted a 48 hrs or less without medication. Ok, nothing to worry about there. Then, at week 10 after exposure, April 22, she had one single lymph node enlarged on her neck, it was painful, non-bilateral. I completely made a mistake there and searched "Enlarged Lymph Nodes in Neck" and this missery started, it listed HIV. "****, she has HIV" All day and all night long i've been looking for symptoms, questions, seroconversions, statistics, time frames, etcetera, but, let's keep going.
At 14 week after exposure, she got another painful as hell lymph node, on her leg, like in the inner thight. She went to the doctor and he examined her vagina and found nothing wrong, no infections, no yeast, no nothing, everything was fine, she was on her period, nothing wrong. 17 weeks after exposure, she got a bacterial tonsilitis, you know, white stuff on her tonsils, which responded to antibiotics, and cleared up in like 4 days.
Now, on 2013, in August approximately, like 8 months after my exposure, i started having recurrent tonsilitis. They lasted like from August to January, one episode every month, they responden well to antibiotics and they would last, with treatment, 4-5 days, regular, but, i've always had that kind of tonsilitis since i was a kid. I even got canker sores on my tonsils, from 14-15 canker sores at the time so, i'm not really worried about them cause, they where too late to be ARS and way too early to be caused by HIV progression. Never had anything else besides the tonsilitis.
Well, now, coming back to my GF symptoms, i started panicking and i examined my self for lymph nodes. I had 5 little lymph nodes. 1 down my ear, which was there before the exposure, cause i pierced my lobe and it got infected so it stayed that way there. Then, i examined my jaw, i had 2 at both sides, the tonsillar nodes, and the one right next to them. I freaked out instantly when i found out about them but then remembered that my tonsils have been infected, so i guess that is the cause. I have no lymph nodes which can not be explained by some infection i had, none on my armpits, none on my groing, on my head, nothing, none of neck neither.
So, these are my facts, i just want you to tell me if my conclusions/questions are right.
1.- If it was ARS what caused my GF's symptoms, isn't too late for them? 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 14 week, 17 week. 2.- Also, aren't the symptoms too delayed? One week one, two weeks another one, 4 weeks another one, and 3 weeks another one. They are supossed to come all together, and leave all together, right?
3.-No feaver, no rash on her, good sign too?
4- Me, the girl i slept with from my work, and her boyfriend didn't have any ARS symptoms, if it was indeed HIV, isn't it unlikely that we didn't had any symptoms at all?
5.- I live in a country with a population of 18 million people, almost 40.000 people live with HIV here, that gives me that the population with HIV at my country is 0.2%. 90% of the woman infected are housewives and the 10% are sexworkers, most concentrated at the north of my country. I live in the "center" of it. Do i have the chance of being HIV negative?
On this 4 months i've earned myself some pounds to my pound collection due to stress eating, also psoriasis on my scalp, sleep paralysis, and a twitch on my eye.
I'm gonna get tested with her this week, should I expect a negative result?
